Recovery To Discovery

Every year in Ontario:

• 17,000 people suffer a traumatic brain injury
• 4100 people will die as a result of their injuries
• Approximately 13,000 people will survive, some learning to cope with significant changes in every aspect of their lives           

Some of the people affected by this life changing event will have been followers of Jesus Christ prior to their injuries. Some will seek Him as a result of their injuries.
Recovery to Discovery is a ministry outreach of King’s View Community Church in Stoney Creek Ontario.  We are committed to helping people not only recover from the devastation of brain injury, but to actually go further by discovering God’s will and purpose in the midst of the confusion that such an event can cause in our lives.

With this site, and other events such as training seminars and conference events, we hope to encourage and build the Christian Brain Injury Community in Ontario.  We also want to be a resource to the church to facilitate reintegration of the injured person back into their church communities where possible.
